DEVELOPMENT OF AN INTERACTIVE MEDIA INSTRUCTIONAL ON THE INQUIRY -BASED IN MATHEMATICS OF GRADE X IN MAS ISLAMIYAH SUNGGAL

This study aims to: (1) to generate media interactive on the inquiry-based appropriate to use, easy to learn and can be used for individual learning, (2) to examine the effectiveness of media interactive on the inquiry-based in mathematics. This type of research is the development of research using models Borg and Gall with instructional development models Dick and Carey. Development of an interactive media on the inquiry-based consists of six stages: initial needs analysis, instructional design, development design, product development, expert validation, test and product revision. The data was analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results showed: (1) the test of mathematics material experts were in excellent qualifications (93,63%), (2) the test of learning design experts were in excellent qualifications (81,20%), (3) the test of software experts were in excellent qualification (81,30%), (4) individual testing were in excellent qualification (86,67%), (5) small group trial were in very good qualification (93,63%), and (6) field trials were in excellent qualification (98,46%). The test results proved that there was a significant differences between the studentís learning outcomes that learned by using media interactive on the inquiry-based with the studentís learning outcomes that learned by using media of power point. This is shown by t counting = 3,33 at the significance level α = 0,05 with dk 56 gained t table = 1,67, so t counting > t table. The conclusion of the research as follows : The learning outcomes of student group that learned by using media interactive on the inquiry-based (80.46%) is higher than learning outcomes of student group that learned by using power point (71.72%).
