Development of Short Text Based Learning Materials of Moral Value to Students Class XI SMA Negeri 17 Medan

The purpose of this study is to (1) describe the development of the short text-based learning materials of moral value to the students of Class XI SMA Negeri 17 Medan, (2) describe the appropriateness of such text-based learning materials of moral value to the students of Class XI SMA Negeri 17 Medan, (3) knowing the effectiveness of short text-based learning materials of moral value to the students of Class XI SMA Negeri 17 Medan. This research and development refer to the 10 stages of the Borg and Gall simplified into 3 stages, namely research and information gathering, planning, product manufacturing and product development. Data retrieval is done with the validation material expert, expert design, language teachers Indonesia SMA Negeri 17 Medan, and grade XI SMA Negeri 17 Medan of 35 students at the same time as a subject of research. The collection of data in the form of the now assessment. The analysis is done by changing the quantitative data into Likert scales using qualitative data. The results of this research and development are learning materials in the form of modules in the form of print media, which has been declared worthy of being used by expert content, expert design, and Indonesia as a source for language teachers and learning tools. The feasibility of teaching learning material in accordance with the results of the validation. Assessment modules by expert material on aspects of eligibility of the contents have an average 82.35% included in the category of good, the feasibility of serving with average 82.69% included in the excellent category. Assessment modules by design experts have an average of 85% is included in the category. Assessment module by module products Indonesia language teachers has an average of 90.44% included in the excellent category. Comparison of average score test before 70.57% and test after 78.77% real-looking shows the difference based on the results of student learning. It can be concluded that the results of the learning materials development are effective and feasible as a learning resource.
