THE DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHING MATERIALS WRITING BIOGRAPHICAL TEXT BASED ON MIND MAP OF STUDENTS OF GRADE XI SMK NEGERI 2 MEDAN

Abstract

This study aims to produce of teaching materials writing biographical text based on mind map of students of class XI SMK Negeri 2 Medan. The teaching material writing biographical text was developed using the ADDIE development model. The product of the teaching materials produced is a module. The feasibility of teaching material products to write biographical texts was validated by two expert teams, material experts and design experts. The developed product has been eligible for use because it has been validated by two expert teams. The result of validation of teaching materials writing biographical text of the mind map by a material expert has an excellent criteria with percentage 85% for a content feasibility assessment. For appraisal feasibility assessment has very good criteria with percentage 98.87%. For a language eligibility assessment has a good criteria with a percentage of 75%. While the results of validation of teaching materials writing text biographical text based on mind maps by design experts have very good criteria with percentage 88.89% This prove that the development of teaching materials writing biographical text based on mind map has been effectively used for students of class XI SMK Negeri 2 Medan.
