The Influence Of Learning And Achievement To Economic Learning Outcomes Of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (Man) In Medan, North Sumatera

Abstract

This research aims to know: (1) How is the economic learning outcomes of students learned with learning strategy based on problem and the economic learning outcomes of students learned with concept map learning strategy, (2) How is the economic learning outcomes among the students with high achievement motivation and learning outcomes of students with low achievement motivation, (3) Is there interaction between learning strategy (based on problem and concept map) and achievement motivation in influence economic learning outcomes. This research has been done in MAN 1 Medan Tembung regency and MAN 3 Medan Amplas regency, Medan. North Sumatera on grade X IPS, second semester of school year 2016/2017. Population amount 341 students, meanwhile the sample used from both school are 79 students taught using learning strategy based on problem, and 77 students taught using concept map learning strategy. Research result is (1) Economic learning outcomes of students taught using learning strategy based on problem is higher than economic learning outcomes of students taught using concept map learning strategy. It shown by value F count > F table with value Fcount 21,18 >Ftable 4,05. (2) Economic learning outcomes of students with achievement motivation is higher than students learning outcomes with low achievement motivation with value Fcount 68,76 >Ftable 4.05. (3) There is interaction between learning strategy and achievement motivation in influence economic learning outcomes with value Fcount (interaction) bigger than Ftable (Fcount 31,04 > Ftable 4.04 ) on significant level 0,05. This research result shown that learning strategy based on problem is better than concept map learning strategy to improve economic learning outcomes of students. The students with high achievement motivation got economic learning outcomes higher than students with low achievement motivation.
