Abstract

This study aims to determine the creativity of students in conducting simple chemistry based on guided inquiry for class XII seen from the validity and validation results, through practicality through student responses to creativity supported by the observation of student activities, and effectiveness through student learning outcomes. This research is a development research with Research and Development (R & D) research design that is limited to limited test phase. The test was conducted on 32 students of class XII IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Pangkatan which is divided into 8 groups. The research instrument used in this research is the study sheet, validation sheet, response questionnaire, student activity observation sheet, test result sheet of student learning result. Data analysis was done by descriptive quantitative to know the validity, effectivity and effectivity of student creativity in understanding the concept of freezing point decline.
