Impact Learning Model Team Assisted Individualization On learning Outcomes and The Motivation Of Students in Mathematics in Class V Elementary School 060856 Medan

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze: (1) the learning outcomes of the students who are taught according to the teaching model of Team Assisted Individualization higher than student learning results with the Direct Teaching learning model; (2) The motivation of the students with the learning model taught Team Assisted Individualization is higher than the motivation of the student is taught with the Direct Teaching learning model. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri 060856 Medan up to 60 people. The samples in this research, the VA classes 30 students overall, who follow the teaching model Team Asssisted Individualizatio. While VB class numbered 30 students who take the Direct Teaching model learning. This study uses a quasi-experiment with the design of pre-test and according to the test control group design. The instruments used are the test results of learning and motivation questionnaires. The data analysis using t-test. The results of this study show that; (1) The results of the study by students through the learning model Team Assisted Individualization higher than students learned taught results with the Direct Teaching learning model. It is based on the acquisition of scores t = 4.717 greater than the value table = 1.667. ; (2) The motivation of the students with the learning model taught Team Assisted Individualization higher than the students motivation is taught with the Direct Teaching learning model. It is based on the acquisition of scores t = 5.559 greater than the score table = 1.667.
