DEVELOPMENT OF INQUIRY BASED MEDIA INTERACTIVE LEARNING OF MATHEMATICS SUBJECT OF X MAS ISLAMIYAH SUNGGAL

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) to create media inquiry-based interactive learning proper to use, easy to learn and can be used for individual learning, (2) to assess the effectiveness of interactive learning media-based inquiry that was developed in mathematics type of research is the development of the model of product development of Borg and Galt combined with a model of the development of learning of Dick and Carey. Development of media the inquiry-based interactive learning consists of six stages: initial needs analysis, instructional design, development design, product development, expert validation, test and product revision. The data collected were analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results showed: (1) the test of mathematics material experts were in excellent qualifications (3.63%), (2) the test of learning design expertswere in excellent qualifications (8120%), (3) the test of engineering software experts were in excellent qualification (81.30%), (4) individual trials were in excellent qualification (86.67%). (5) the experiments of small group were very good (43.63%), and (6) field trials were in excellent qualification (98,46%). The test results prove that there is a hypothesis that had significant differences between the result of student learning that learned to use inquiry-based interactive learning media with student learning which using media of powerpoint. This is shown by the results obtained data processing tcounting = 3,33 at the significance level α = 0,05 with dk 56 gained ttable = 1.67, so tcounting > ttable. It can be concluded that the learning result of student group that using inquiry based media interactive learning is 80.46%, it is higher than learning result of student group by using powerpoint learning equal to 71.72%
